The Princess Who Wore Glasses is an adorable book with custom illustrations, specific colors, precise wording, and an overall mission to inspire and encourage little girls. The website needed to reflect all of this. To create a cohesive brand for Laura, the author, I used the main colors (pink, purple, and white) throughout the design. I used drawings taken straight from the book as backgrounds and frames throughout the site. Because the book is geared toward young girls, I included printable coloring pages.
Laura had a very specific idea of her website and we worked together to make sure that her vision was realized. We then extended that vision throughout her social media accounts to keep The Princess Who Wore Glasses a consistent brand. Through campaigns, posts, and social interactions, I helped increase the social media traffic by over 80% which resulted in increase sales of the book.
